A magical discovery visiting your country

I discovered the Point Pleasant store, purely by accident, driving along the shore in early Spring 2008 while visiting from Toronto. Being a avid candle fan, I popped in, expecting to see the same run-of-the-mill products I can find anywhere.

Happily, I was wrong. It was like stepping into a magical curiousity shoppe in a fairy tale, with fragrances I never thought possible (white chocolate, anyone?) and classical scents far superior to the mass market candlemakers.

I left with as much as I could carry, but that wasn't the end of it. I found their online shopping experience to be as good as being there in person, and have been an avid customer since.

My house smells awesome.

I recently bought Wickit Good candles at the Belmar Seafood Festival--a jar of Mermaid and a jar of Aloha. I LOVE both scents, and so does everyone who comes over while they are burning. I usually only buy Yankee candles because I can't find any non-Yanks that I like as much...but Wickit Good candles made the cut! The two scents I bought are fresh and fruity for summer, which is exactly what I wanted, and they are not overpowering when they burn. I'll definitely be visiting the Chester store for fall and winter scents when the season is upon us. Thanks very much, and keep up the good work! --Christina

Truly Clean Burning

I stopped burning candles years ago due to the soot produced by those other brands (you know ..Doodle dandy…). My range hood was filthy and it was from burning the large glass jar candle on my stove. Last year, I tried Octopus' Garden with the double wick. Not only was the smell delightful, the candle burned clean. The stove hood was clean, but more impressively the top of the jar was spotless. I am a true believer.
